About Me

Well, my name is obviously Jaime Miller and here's a little background. Since I can remember, I've seen things through an imaginative lens. From my earliest memories and throughout my entire life, scenarios, moments, songs, and visions play back like a movie reel in my mind. That visualization has led me down the path of creating art via photos. I am drawn to the unseen and feel as though I've been given a gift to see between the lines. I sometimes overlook the obvious, as I'm more focused on the seemingly insignificant, yet perfectly significant moments; a mama's reaction when her baby takes their first steps, a child's wonder as they explore their environment, the held back tears and lump in the throat of "the strong one", the newborn fingers wrapped around daddy's finger and the celebration of goal achievement.

I took photography classes in high school, way back when we used 35mm film and dark rooms. I picked a DSLR camera up again about 5 years ago and found a niche market in black and white powerlifting photography. And although I truly enjoy the sport, both as a competitor and spectator, I'm transitioning into storytelling through many different avenues.
